Krushka's Community Walk On

Join the Krushka's Community Walk On to go behind the logging buffers and Rider Separation Zones to see for yourself what the logging taking place around the Blue Derby Mountain Bike trails and Gondwana forests of north east Tasmania.

Put on your walking boots, pack some snacks and a camera as we're going into the hills around Derby and Krushka's forests that governement logging agency will start logging from February 2022. Sustainable Timbers Tasmania have locked the public out of Krushka's via the road, so we will need to walk in about an hour to get to the Krushka's forests, with a bit of uphill trail walking and off track walking. Please ensure you're prepared for 3-4 hours of forest and walking time to get the most out of this event.
